These went up at a family-run Anoka feed mill in the early 1950s — and they've sat empty for years now, even while the store beside them keeps going. Long enough idle that they've quietly become a local landmark: people pose for wedding and graduation photos in front of them, drawn in by a weathered charm that no longer has anything to do with grain. Dark domes, streaked concrete, bare trees crowding the base — the kind of texture only real time produces.
