I have a thing for paths.

This one runs through the same riverside park, one of my regular walks along the Mississippi. It's quiet most of the year, but in spring and fall it fills with birds passing through on migration, more of them heard than seen. Groundwork was shot a few steps away, down by the water.

In November it's just bare trees, a gray sky, and a path pulling you forward. Black and white suits it.
